May 5th Cross-Quarter Meditation & Livestream Video

At 13:13 UTC on 5 May 2018, the sun will be directly overhead at at Latitude: 16° 20′ North, Longitude: 18° 50′ West. This is in the Atlantic, between the west coast of Africa (near the border of Mauritania and Senegal) and the Cape Verde islands. At that time, you are invited to face toward the sun, and meditate on agaya and ubuntu, so that people all around the world will focus their attention and wishes for global loving-kindness at the same time.

In the northern hemisphere this is the Spring-Summer Cross Quarter (associated with Beltane, often celebrated May 1st). It is also near Vesak Day, the day for celebration of the Buddha, which is usually coordinated with the full moon in May.
