Perihelion 2019

Agaya, ubuntu and Happy Next Orbit! PERIHELION (the point in Earth’s orbit when we are closest to the sun) is about 10 hours away — another great opportunity to coordinate a simultaneous meditation for global agaya, ubuntu, gratitude and loving-kindness.

The exact moment when we’re closest to the sun this year is 05:19 UTC on January 3rd this year.  At that time, the Sun is at its zenith at Latitude: 22° 51′ South, Longitude: 101° 34′ East (west of Perth, Australia and south of Jakarta, Indonesia, in the Indian Ocean).

No livestream this time, but please join meditation through this moment. Begin meditating anytime before then, and perhaps set a reminder bell for about 18 minutes after the hour, when we can all focus on extending agaya and ubuntu from that point on Earth closest to the sun, to share ubuntu and agaya as a gift for the world.

There will be either a recording or livestream for the Cross-Quarter (the midpoint between the Solstice and the Equinox) on February 4, 2019 at 03:01 UTC — please mark your calendar to be sure to join.

Many happy returns, and may this trip around the sun abound in ubuntu and agaya!
